Hardness classification of extruded silicone squeegees

Extruded silicone squeegees are typically categorized by their Shore A hardness, with different hardness levels suitable for different applications. Ultra-soft squeegees (20-30A) offer extremely high flexibility, allowing them to closely conform to irregular surfaces, making them suitable for fine coating or demanding cleaning applications.

Medium hardness (40-60A) is the most common type, balancing flexibility and support, suitable for kitchens, everyday cleaning, and general industrial uses. These products have a wide range of applications and offer excellent value.

Harder squeegees (70A and above) are more suitable for industrial applications, such as coating and printing, where a certain pressure and scraping force are required. These squeegees offer greater wear resistance but relatively lower flexibility. Choosing the appropriate hardness can significantly improve performance and efficiency.
