Our SAE 100R8 Thermoplastic Hydraulic Hose range is designed for medium pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems and meets or exceeds the SAE 100R8 standard. It features an oil resistant seamless thermoplastic elastomer inner core, reinforced with high strength synthetic fibers and a highly abrasion resistant polyurethane outer layer, making it durable in demanding environments. With an operating temperature range of -40°F to +212°F, it is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

SAE 100R8 Hydraulic Hose Structure

• Inner Tube: This is made from a oil-resistant thermoplastic material, such as polyamide (nylon) or polyester elastomer, which ensures compatibility with various hydraulic fluids including petroleum, water-based, and synthetic types.
• Reinforcement Layer: Encasing the inner tube is a single braid of high-tensile synthetic yarn or fiber. This reinforcement provides the necessary strength to withstand the specified working pressures while maintaining the hose's flexibility and lightweight characteristics.
• Outer Cover: The outermost layer is typically made of a durable thermoplastic material like polyurethane (TPU) or high flexibility nylon. This cover is designed to be highly resistant to abrasion, ozone, weather, and hydraulic fluids, protecting the internal components from environmental damage and extending the hose's service life.

100R8 Hydraulic Hose Colors

• Black: This is a very common and general-purpose color, often used for standard hydraulic applications where specific color coding isn't a primary concern.
