What is a braided silicone hose?

Braided silicone tubing, also known as reinforced silicone tubing or superimposed silicone tubing, is a high-pressure-resistant silicone tubing with an outer polyester mesh braided fabric reinforced with glass fiber or steel wire. It is widely used in cleanroom applications such as pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, food processing, and cosmetics. Its core uses NSF51 certified silicone material, manufactured in a Class 1000 cleanroom using a platinum curing process, and complies with international standards such as USP Class VI, FDA, ISO 10993, and European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9 and 3A. The product has also obtained SGS, RoHS, FDA, UL, LFGB, and biocompatibility certifications.

This product has a hardness of 70A, a standard length of 12 feet, and a temperature tolerance range of -73.3℃ to 250℃. It supports CIP, SIP, and autoclaving, and is suitable for complete vacuum and low-pressure environments. The tubing is available in both smooth and corrugated outer wall types. The semi-transparent wall facilitates media flow monitoring and possesses anti-kink and chemical corrosion resistance properties. Some products utilize a multi-layered structure (such as a corrugated inner tube + braided layer + outer silicone layer) to enhance pressure resistance and high-temperature performance, making them suitable for specialized industrial applications such as automotive modification and medical equipment. The production process employs sealed packaging and traceable registration numbers to ensure quality control.
